Campus Visits
A cornerstone of any college search, schedule an in-person tour on either the Hattiesburg or Gulf Park campus today.
This is where the black and gold legacy started! Our traditional campus, students can cheer on the Golden Eagles at a home game or join one of our more than 220 student organizations, including Greek-letter fraternities and sororities. Our convenient and comfortable residence halls are just moments away from campus dining locations and academic buildings. An easy distance to New Orleans, Mobile, and the Gulf Coast, with plentiful opportunities for jobs and internships, Hattiesburg is truly Mississippi’s premier college city!
Our Gulf Park campus is located in Long Beach and situated along the Mississippi Sound. This campus serves as a hub for the University’s academic instruction along the Gulf Coast and offers academic programs such as marine science, ocean engineering, business, human capital development, and sustainability studies in a uniquely beautiful beachfront setting. The Gulf Park campus and other USM coastal sites capitalize on and embrace our coastal community, coastal presence, and proximity to the Gulf of Mexico to deliver a distinctive academic experience for students.
