Jimmy A. Payne Foundation Gap Scholarship

The Jimmy A. Payne Foundation has generously provided The University of Southern Mississippi with funds to award gap scholarships to junior and senior students navigating financial hardship so that they can stay enrolled and persist towards graduation. 

Prospective awardees must meet the following requirements:

• Must be an undergraduate student at the University of Southern Mississippi.
• Must be in good academic standing (minimum of a 2.0 cum GPA).
• Must be on the Hattiesburg campus, Gulf Park campus, or online.
• Must be a junior or senior (as classified by credit hours).
• Must have a current application in the USM Foundation’s Golden Opportunities (GO) System.
• Must have unmet financial need.

Please note that annual funds are limited and applying via the link below does not guarantee that you/your referral will be awarded the scholarship.
