How to Configure the Android Outlook App for Office 365

The Microsoft Outlook App is the recommended way to access your Office 365 email and calendar on an Android device.
- On your mobile device, go to the Google Play Store and install the Microsoft Outlook App.
- Open the app once it finishes the install.
- Select Get Started.
- Enter your w+ID#@usm.edu username for email address, and then select Continue. No password is required at this point.
- Next you will be taken to The University of Southern Mississippi page, you will make sure your username is in as w+ID#@usm.edu and your CampusID password.
- If you have MFA (multi-factor authentication) enabled on your account, you will be
asked to verify your identity.
- A few screens of help text are presented, which you can read or skip. Your Office 365 Inbox then displays.
