Dr. K. Chimène Gecewicz
Assistant Professor
Bio
For over twenty years, I have been fortunate enough to share my love of learning, languages, and cultures with a wide variety of students as both a teacher and a program director. In addition to having theoretical knowledge in the areas of anthropology and the teaching of languages, I have practical experience which enriches my approach to education. I have lived in England, conducted fieldwork in Africa, and traveled throughout Europe and Mexico. I have taught ESL in both K12 and university settings, and I have been involved in curriculum development, grant writing, scheduling, policy writing, teacher training, and supervision. In addition, I have demonstrated my commitment to actively serve students and colleagues.
