Dr. Ali Fridley
Assistant Professor
Bio
Dr. Ali Fridley is an assistant professor at The University of Southern Mississippi. She earned her Ph.D. in Health, Sport, and Exercise Science from the University of Arkansas, her M.A. in Sport Administration from The University of Alabama, and her B.S. in Recreation and Sport Management from Mars Hill University. Dr. Fridley’s primary research interests include intercollegiate sport marketing and athlete development and experience. Her current research examines sport spectator motives of marginalized identities, impacts of coaching transitions on student-athletes, and mental health within the student-athlete population.
