Dr. Kristy McRaney

Bio
Dr. Kristy McRaney is an Assistant Clinical Professor and the Director of the USM Center for Behavioral Health. She is a licensed psychologist specializing in psychological evaluation and treatment of clinical mental health conditions in children. Dr. McRaney received the MPA 2022 Outstanding Early Career Psychologist Award. She currently serves as the Immediate Past President of the Mississippi Psychological Association (MPA) and is an Individual Affiliate of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network.
Dr. McRaney graduated from the University of Memphis in 2011 with a B.A. in Psychology. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at USM in 2016. Dr. McRaney completed an additional training year as a postdoctoral resident with the University of Missouri-St. Louis Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology where she received specialized training in comprehensive psychological assessment of children.
