Bio
Dr. Leslie Oglesby received his BS degree in Athletic Training from The University of Alabama in 2010, his MS degree in Health Promotion from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in 2012, and his PhD in Kinesiology, Exercise, Nutrition and Health Promotion from Baylor University in 2018. He practiced as a certified athletic trainer in the collegiate setting for 8 years before becoming Clinical Education Coordinator for the athletic training program at USM in 2018. He became the Program Director of the athletic training program in 2022. His research investigates the effects and remediation of burnout in athletic trainers.
