Bio
Mississippi native Dr. Meredith Melvin Johnson, trains future music educators in diction, pedagogy, and literature as well as coaches collegiate level singers in multiple genres. She specializes in both classical and belt techniques and is an active adjudicator and vocal clinician, offering workshops for choral groups, showchoirs, musical theatre students, and church ensembles. In addition to her position as assistant professor of voice at The University of Southern Mississippi, Dr. Johnson's private studio caters to a wide variety of musical styles while her online courses, “Virtual Vocal Academy” and “Audition Bootcamp" offer training to students around the globe.
