Mrs. Kathy Smith

Bio
Mrs. Kathy L. Smith received her BSN degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1981 and her MSN degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1995. She is currently an EdD candidate at the University of Alabama. Mrs. Smith is a certified pediatric nurse with over 27 years of pediatric nursing who maintains a PRN clinical practice. Her main teaching and clinical focus is pediatric nursing. Her current dissertation research is focused on the evaluation of clinical nursing skills to produce confident, competent, and safe baccalaureate nurses.
